BOOK’D Privacy Policy

BookD Incorporated · Version 1 · Effective 9/29/2026

1. Scope and responsibility

BookD Incorporated is responsible for information processed to operate the BOOK’D platform. Independent professionals and venue operators also process information for their own services and operations. Their separate practices may apply to information they collect directly. This notice describes BOOK’D’s platform processing and the controls available in your account.

2. Information we process

Platform records can include your name, email, phone number, account identifiers, selected roles, profile content, bookings, appointments, payments and provider references, messages, support cases, preferences and policy acceptances. Professional and operator applications can include credentials, licenses, insurance, facility documents, attestations and verification outcomes. Operational records include arrival/departure evidence, authorized access events, task activity, security logs and audit history.

3. Identity and payment providers

When identity verification is enabled, you enter the hosted provider’s verification flow. The provider can collect identity documents, images and other verification information according to the notice in that flow; BOOK’D records the references and results needed to determine eligibility. Payment card entry occurs through the payment provider. BOOK’D retains payment status and transaction references rather than exposing card details in the application. Review the provider’s notice before submitting sensitive information.

4. Why information is used

We use information to authenticate accounts, establish eligibility and authority, publish authorized profiles, schedule and fulfill bookings, collect and reconcile payments, provide support, communicate transaction updates, enforce operating rules, prevent misuse and maintain audit records. Optional public profile fields are published according to your listing settings. Notification preferences govern optional communications where available; essential account, safety and transaction notices may still be necessary.

5. Who receives information

Relevant information is shared with the professional, operator or authorized staff involved in your transaction and with providers needed to deliver the requested function. Providers can include hosting/database, authentication, payment/identity verification, email/SMS, calendar and concierge services when commissioned. Calendar connection grants the permissions presented by its provider. Concierge messages may be processed by the configured model provider. Do not place passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive documents in ordinary messages.

6. Public information and access controls

Published profiles, service listings, location details and eligible published reviews can be visible publicly. Private application documents, account conversations and restricted operating records are intended for their authorized participants and reviewers. Use your public visibility controls before publishing. Removing a public listing does not guarantee removal of copies already made by other people or search engines.

7. Retention and security

We retain information according to its purpose, account and transaction status, dispute needs, audit requirements and applicable retention obligations. A deletion request does not automatically erase records needed for outstanding transactions, legal obligations or legitimate dispute handling. Authentication, role checks, private document storage and audit records help control access. No system can guarantee absolute security; report a suspected account compromise through support and change your password promptly.

8. Your choices and requests

You can edit supported profile fields, change notification preferences, disconnect available integrations and prepare an account export. Submit access, correction, deletion, redaction or consent-withdrawal requests in Account & privacy. Additional identity confirmation can be required before sensitive fulfillment. The request history records the decision and fulfillment receipt. You may also contact BOOK’D through /about/contact. Withdrawing optional consent affects the associated processing; essential processing and required retained records are assessed separately.

9. Changes and international use

The platform records document versions and policy acceptances. Provider processing may occur in countries other than your location. Additional disclosures and protections can apply when a market is enabled. A published international information page is not a representation that every transactional or provider capability is commissioned in that market. Material privacy changes are published as a new version.
