Q: Who can book a space at Book’D?

A: Licensed beauty professionals (barbers, stylists, estheticians, nail techs, MUAs) and content creators (podcasters, influencers, entrepreneurs).

Booking & Access

Q: How do I book a suite, station, or studio?

A: Book online via our website or mobile app. Select your space, date/time, and duration, then complete payment to confirm.

Q: What is the minimum booking time?

  • Suites & Stations: 2 hours
  • Podcast Studio: 1 hour (audio only) or 1.5 hours (video packages)

Q: How do I access the building?

A: Once you book, you’ll receive a unique, time-limited access code via email/SMS. This code works only during your reserved time.

Q: Can I get 24/7 access?

A: Yes — Elite members receive 24/7 access to suites and stations. The podcast studio is available during staffed hours only.

Memberships

Q: Do I need a membership to book?

A: No, you can book as a guest. But memberships offer discounts and extra perks.

Q: What’s the difference between Pro and Elite memberships?

  • Pro ($49/mo): 20% off bookings, priority scheduling, 1 towel set/month, directory listing.
  • Elite ($99/mo): 25% off, 24/7 access to suites/stations, locker storage, waived same-day fees, premium support, podcast discounts, and free studio hours each quarter.

Q: Can I cancel my membership anytime?

A: Yes. Cancel at least 7 days before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle.

Policies & Requirements

Q: Do I need insurance to rent a space?

A: Yes. All beauty professionals must carry professional liability insurance (minimum $1M). If you don’t have it, you can purchase temporary coverage at checkout.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

  • Cancel 24+ hours before your booking → full credit for a future booking.
  • Cancel less than 24 hours or no-show → no credit or refund.
  • Memberships are non-refundable once billed.

Q: Do I keep 100% of my earnings from clients?

A: Absolutely. Unlike traditional salons, Book’D never takes a percentage.

Q: What happens if I leave the space messy?

A: A $25 cleaning fee will be applied, and repeated violations may suspend your booking privileges.

Podcast Studio

Q: What’s included in the podcast studio rental?

A: Depending on your package:

  • Audio-Only ($75/hr): Mics, mixer, headphones, audio file delivery.
  • Video + Audio ($150/hr): 2 cameras, lighting, raw video/audio.
  • Full Production ($200/hr): 3 cameras with live switching, lighting, engineer, synced files.

Q: Can I bring my own equipment?

A: Yes, but our team must approve it to ensure safety and compatibility.

Q: Is editing included?

A: Editing is available as an add-on. Raw files are always included in your session.

A: Towels are included with memberships; additional towel service available as an add-on. Professionals provide their own tools and products.
