Hourly Rental Cancellations

Cancellation Timing Policy
24+ hours before booking 100% credit toward future booking (no cash refund)
Less than 24 hours before booking No refund or credit
No-show (failure to arrive) No refund or credit; account flagged

Credits expire 90 days from issue date. No extensions.

Membership Cancellations

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once charged.
  • Cancel at least 7 days before your renewal date to prevent the next charge.
  • Cancellation requests received fewer than 7 days before renewal will stop the following cycle’s charge.
  • Membership benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Unused benefits (free hours, credits) do not carry over and are not refundable.

Podcast Studio Cancellations

  • 48+ hours before session: 100% credit or reschedule
  • 24–48 hours before session: 50% credit
  • Less than 24 hours or no-show: No refund or credit
  • Add-ons (editing, clips): Refundable only if canceled 24+ hours in advance

Event Rental Cancellations

  • 14+ days before event: Full refund minus $50 administrative fee
  • 7–14 days before event: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days: No refund
  • Security deposit: Refunded within 7 business days if no damages

Book'D Initiated Cancellations

  • If Book’D cancels a booking due to facility issues, full refund or reschedule will be offered.
  • If Book’D cancels due to renter policy violation, no refund will be provided.
  • Book’D is not responsible for cancellations due to force majeure events.

Chargeback Policy

Chargebacks are prohibited.

  • Renters agree not to initiate chargebacks with their bank or credit card company.
  • All disputes must be resolved directly with Book’D.
  • Initiating a chargeback will result in immediate account suspension.
  • Renter agrees to pay all costs associated with defending chargebacks, including administrative fees.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to credit bureaus and pursued legally.
