Booking Policies

  • All bookings prepaid online.
  • Minimum rental: 2 hours.
  • Temporary access codes delivered via email/SMS, valid only during booking window (+10 minutes buffer each side).
  • Cleaning required; $25 fee if not reset properly.
  • Memberships auto-renew monthly unless canceled 7 days before renewal.

Rental/License Agreement & Liability Waiver

Nature of Agreement
  • This is a license, not a lease. Renters have temporary use of space but no tenant rights under Illinois landlord-tenant law.
  • Bookings grant access only during reserved hours.
Renter Responsibilities
  • Provide only lawful, licensed services.
  • Supply own tools/products.
  • Reset and clean space before departure.
  • Supervise clients at all times.
  • Be financially responsible for any damages caused.
Insurance Requirement (Mandatory)
  • All renters must carry professional liability insurance (minimum $1M per occurrence).
  • Proof of insurance required before first booking.
  • Hourly renters without annual coverage must purchase temporary coverage through Book’D’s approved provider.
  • No insurance = no booking.

Renters assume all risks associated with services.

  • Book’D LLC, its owners, and staff are not responsible for:
    • Injuries to renter, clients, or guests.
    • Damages, theft, or loss of property.
    • Claims from services provided by renter.
  • Renters indemnify and hold Book’D harmless from any claims, suits, or costs.
Access
  • Unique, time-bound PIN codes issued.
  • Codes non-transferable and expire after booking window.
  • Sharing codes = $100 fine + termination.
Enforcement
  • Book’D may revoke access or terminate bookings for misconduct or violations.
  • No refunds for terminated bookings.

Policies

A. Membership Addendum
  • Membership fees billed monthly in advance, non-refundable.
  • Membership auto-renews unless canceled 7 days before billing date.
  • Elite members receive 24/7 access and are responsible for securing premises after use.
  • Sharing membership benefits or access credentials is prohibited.
  • Book’D may suspend or terminate memberships for misconduct, violations, or non-payment.
  • Membership benefits may be adjusted with 30 days’ notice.
B. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Hourly Rentals:
  • Cancellations 24+ hours before booking = credit toward future rental.
  • Cancellations <24 hours or no-shows = no refund/credit.
Memberships:
  • Non-refundable once billed.
  • Must cancel 7 days prior to renewal to stop billing.
Chargebacks:
  • Renters agree not to initiate chargebacks with bank/credit card.
  • Disputes handled directly with Book’D.
  • Book’D reserves right to suspend or terminate accounts for chargebacks.
C. Access Policy
  • Temporary random PINs or mobile credentials issued for each booking.
  • Codes valid only during scheduled rental (with buffer).
  • Codes may not be shared.
  • Misuse (sharing codes, forcing entry, after-hours entry) = $100 fine and possible termination.
  • Staff and management maintain permanent access rights for safety and maintenance.
D. Client & Guest Policy
  • Clients must be accompanied by their service provider (Renter).
  • Guests may not remain in facility without their provider.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Clients may use waiting area only — no loitering in halls.
  • Food and drinks only in designated areas.
  • Book’D is not responsible for loss/damage to client property.
  • Renters are liable for client conduct and damages.
  • Book’D may remove disruptive clients/guests at its discretion.
E. House Rules & Cleaning Checklist
  • No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or drugs.
  • No food/drink in suites/stations.
  • Respect other renters; keep noise reasonable.
Reset space before leaving:
  • Wipe chairs, counters, mirrors.
  • Sanitize tools, shampoo bowls, dryers.
  • Sweep/vacuum floors.
  • Dispose of trash in bins.
  • Return equipment to original position.
  • Remove personal belongings.
  • Failure to clean/reset = $25 cleaning fee.
F. Professional Code of Conduct
  • Maintain professionalism with clients, peers, staff.
  • Hold valid licenses per Illinois law (IDFPR).
  • Follow state health/sanitation codes.
  • No fraudulent activity (false bookings, chargebacks, misrepresentation).
  • Respect all Book’D property and peers.
  • Any damages caused through negligence billed to renter.
Violations may result in:
  • Warnings
  • Fines/fees
  • Suspension of booking privileges
  • Membership termination without refund
  • Legal action for serious violations

  • Hourly Rentals (Standard): 7am–10pm
  • Elite Members: 24/7 access
  • Admin/Support: Mon–Sat, 9am–6pm
