Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:
Professional Standards
- Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance at all times.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects positively on yourself and Book’D.
- Communicate professionally with clients, fellow renters, and staff.
- Be punctual for bookings; late arrivals affect other renters.
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain all licenses required by the State of Illinois for services provided.
- Comply with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) standards.
- Follow all applicable health, sanitation, and safety codes.
- Display licenses as required by law.
- Report any license suspensions, revocations, or disciplinary actions to Book’D immediately.
Sanitation & Hygiene
- Sanitize all tools, chairs, and work surfaces between each client.
- Use only approved disinfectants and sanitizers.
- Dispose of single-use items properly after each use.
- Wash hands before and after each client.
- Do not work if you have a contagious illness.
Business Integrity
- No Fraud: Do not book under false identity, misrepresent services, or engage in deceptive practices.
- No Chargebacks: Initiating fraudulent chargebacks is prohibited and may result in legal action.
- No Solicitation: Do not solicit other renters’ clients or engage in predatory business practices.
- Respect Property: Treat Book’D property, equipment, and the spaces of others with care.
Violations & Consequences
- Verbal warning (documented)
- Written warning
- Fines (per penalty schedule)
- Suspension of booking privileges (7–90 days)
- Termination of membership without refund
- Permanent ban from Book’D facilities
- Legal action for serious violations, damages, or unpaid amounts
