House Rules & Facility Standards

General Conduct

  • Treat all renters, clients, guests, and staff with respect and courtesy.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Keep noise at reasonable levels; music and conversation should not disturb others.
  • Use only the space you have reserved; do not enter other suites without authorization.

Prohibited Items & Activities

  • Smoking & Vaping: Absolutely prohibited anywhere on Book’D property, including parking areas.
  • Alcohol: Consumption or possession of alcohol is prohibited.
  • Illegal Drugs: Use, possession, or distribution of controlled substances is prohibited and will result in immediate termination and legal action.
  • Weapons: Firearms, knives, and other weapons are prohibited (except as required by law).
  • Pets: No pets allowed except documented service animals.
  • Hazardous Materials: Only professional products appropriate for licensed services may be used.

Food & Beverage Policy

  • Food and beverages may only be consumed in the designated break area or waiting area.
  • No food or open beverages in suites, stations, or the podcast studio.
  • Sealed water bottles are permitted at workstations.
  • Clean up after yourself; dispose of waste properly.

Shared Amenity Use

  • Shampoo Bowls: Clean bowl and area after each use; wipe down surfaces; remove hair from drains.
  • Dryers: First-come, first-served; limit use during peak hours; clean filters after use.
  • Laundry: For professional linens only; remove items promptly; no personal laundry.
  • Waiting Area: Clients only; no overnight storage; keep neat and clean.
  • Restrooms: Keep clean; report maintenance issues immediately.

Equipment Care

  • Use all Book’D equipment only for its intended purpose.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or damage immediately.
  • Do not attempt to repair, modify, or adjust equipment.
  • Damage due to misuse or negligence will be billed to the responsible renter.
