This requirement applies to all beauty professionals, barbers, stylists, estheticians, nail technicians, massage therapists, tattoo artists, and any other service provider operating at Book’D. Content creators using the podcast studio only are exempt unless providing professional services to clients.
Mandatory Insurance Requirement
All service providers must maintain professional liability insurance.

Certificate of Insurance (COI) Requirements
- COI must be uploaded and verified BEFORE first booking.
- COI must list “Book’D LLC” as an Additional Insured.
- COI must show current effective dates covering all scheduled bookings.
- Renters must upload updated COI at least 14 days before policy expiration.
- Book’D reserves the right to verify coverage directly with the issuing insurer.
Temporary/Short-Term Coverage Option
Renters who do not maintain annual professional liability insurance may purchase temporary coverage through Book’D’s approved insurance partner at checkout.
- Per-Day Coverage: $12 per booking day
- Per-Week Coverage: $45 per week

No insurance = no booking. This requirement is strictly enforced and non-negotiable.
